Defective Mesh Implant Lawsuits

Thousands of patients across the U.S. have successfully filed lawsuits against manufacturers over a defective hernia, transvaginal and pelvic mesh implants. Medical device manufacturers like Ethicon and Boston Scientific are accused of knowingly using a dangerous polymer and engaging in irresponsible acts that exposed patients to severe health risks.

The manufacturers reportedly engaged in acts relating to suppressing reports, smuggling in a counterfeit polymer, and failing to properly inform physicians about the potential health risks for patients. Patients have suffered continuous pain, health complications, permanent disabilities and severe infections caused by the mesh implants.
